Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:
1 pound Italian Sausage
1 onion, diced
1-3 cloves garlic, minced (I like a lot of garlic, so use just 1 if you are wary of it being too much)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
1 bay leaf
1 64 oz can V-8 juice
2 small cans tomato paste
1/4 cup brown sugar

Fry sausage and onions. Combine all ingredients together and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until thickened. Once you try it, you'll never make another spaghetti sauce again! Delicious!

(Note: I use this sauce for the cup of marinara it calls for in the Italian Meatloaf recipe. So good!)

Apparently Heather didn't tell you, so I am taking the liberty.... as a sister-in-law, I wanted to inform you the christensen clan has more or less adopted this as our Official Spaghetti Sauce Recipe. We're all basically obsessed. Heather sent me the link when I asked her for the recipe to make it myself. So, I just wanted to say, thanks!
